Dear Jack, are there any interviews of you in any of the guitar
mags? I'd love to know your influences, tunings, gear etc. I saw you
with the ABB a couple of times a few years back. I'm a deadly serious
player and you really blew me away with your style-VERY bluesy with
just enough jazz as to not sound superfluous. This is what I've
been aspiring for for years. I listen to whats popular on the radio,
MTv and VH-1, and pal let me tell ya-you're breath of fresh air!
Thanks for the goooood music, you've a beautiful guitar soul. Tim

I saw you with the Allman Brothers at the Universal Amphitheater
and not only enjoyed your playing but your interaction with Duane
Betts. Your soulful, in the pocket, playing and your willingness
to show the kid the ropes for the few songs he was on-stage with
the band has stuck with me. I didn't see him talk to Dickey once
while he was on-stage. Thanks for sharing your gift with all us
fans. I wish I could hear you live again but I will not throw out
the predictable plea, asking you to come to my home town of Orange
County California! Don’t worry the RAP thumpings coming from
the lowered import vehicle next to me at every stop-light will fill
the void of actual music.

Hey Jack,
I am a former MTSU student and caught you whenever I could. I always
had to get there early to hear "I'm Ready" cause that
song really gets things cooking. I have since moved from middle
TN and saw you at faces a couple of weeks ago. I forgot how much
I miss really good soulful music. You really have a unique calm
stage presence but the music you make is like an explosion of freshness
that is so refreshing.(for lack of a better analogy) Would love
to see you in the Atlanta area some time. I love all the other band
members from rambo to the mad drummer. Keep on making us smile.

Hi Jack,
We met a while ago in Cleveland when you played Nautica Stage with
ABB. I check your web site every so often to see what's going on.
I noticed in your guest book that everyone wants you to come to
their city to play. I would like to ad Cleveland to that request.
I work for House of Blues and in addition to Blossom Music Center
up here, we just took over Nautica as the exclusive promoter. Please
let me know if there is anything I can do for you to help you in
Cleveland. And please come back! The Allman Brothers have been coming
to Blossom for the past three years and while I enjoy the show,
I share in the wishes that we could see you again with them (The
concert just doesn't seem to be the same fun show). I hope everything
is going well.
Take Care,
Maria

Hey Jack: I'm going to pick up your self titled disc of instrumentals.
At risk of beatin a dead horse: It was a sad day for a lot of your
fans whey you parted with the Allman Bros. I sure wish you head
up to NYC and do a couple of shows for those of us who can't make
it to Nashville. I tell you, every show you did with the ABB in
'98 & '99 is just heaven. I have several recordings of that
era and love them all. Keep making the fine music that you are,
and think about coming to NYC. You'd take your fans up here over

Jack,
I had the great privledge to see you play with the allman brothers
back in the late 1900's. It was '97 i believe and it was out in
oregon. I was too high to remember your name in all honesty(shrooms!),
but i caught your name on the natural fire web site. You were a
real mofo on the guitar that evening and you played circles around
dickey betts! You could just see the frustration on his face when
you guys were trading licks. I'm just glad i did'nt have his job
that night! What a bag of tricks and you are such smooth dude. One
of my favorite concerts!. I would love to see you light up the stage
again some day...I'm not sure what kind of stuff you are doing these
days but i would like to find out. If you give lessons... i would
love to digest some of that knowledge too... you are a master! Please
drop me a line and give me the scoop!

I think and you had a natural wood finish tele that was such a pretty
guitar do you still have it. I get grief for this next statement
all the time but I feel you were the most technically smooth and
varied guitarist to ever play with the ABB! You have soul and chops
yes every one else has their sound and style which were uncaomparable
but you can and could cover so much territory with those guys hope
to see you in guitartown soon!
